Fabio Sonvico, was born in 1974, received his graduation degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology in 1999 from the University of Pavia (Italy) with an experimental work in collaboration with Bayer Italia on the application of Near Infrared Spectroscopy on production intermediates and finished drug dosage forms. Received his Ph.D. both in Italy and France with a co-tutorial research project between University of Parma and the University of Paris XI. From January 2004 to November 2005 he has been researcher of the Italian National Institute for Physics of the Matter (INFM) on a project concerning the development of biopolymeric nanosystems for drug delivery. From 2005 he is working at the Pharmaceutical Department of the University of Parma. In 2008 he has spent a month as Invited Professor at the Université Claude Bernard – Lyon 1. He is author of 15 papers, 2 book chapters, 2 patents in the field drug delivery.
