Dr. Michael Jay is currently Professor of Molecular Pharmaceutics in the Center for Nanotechnology in Drug Delivery at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.   During the previous 28 years, he was  Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Diagnostic Radiology as well as the Director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Science and Technology at the University of Kentucky, and an Assistant Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Connecticut.  He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers at the interface of the pharmaceutical and nuclear sciences and is currently working on dual imaging-therapeutic nanovectors.  He is a Fellow of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and co-founder of NanoMed Pharmaceuticals Inc.
