RESEARCH
Prof. Çapan has served as Registration Main Commission member and Commission for BY/BE member at the Turkish Ministry of Health-Drug and Pharmacy General Directorate for several years. He is currently serving as Head of Department of Pharmaceutical Technology since February 2007 and president of FATUM Pharmaceutical Technology Research and Application Center in Hacettepe University since April 2007. Prof. Çapan’s research interests include brain delivery with nanoparticles, brain drug targeting, bioavailability-bioequivalence, controlled release of oral drug delivery systems, tabletting, bioadhesion, GMP and quality assurance, peptide delivery from biodegradable microspheres. Prof. Çapan has been working as visiting scientist and visiting professor in University of Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France and University of Kentucky at Lexington, USA. He is also serving as Turkish delegate at the Commission for European Pharmacopeia in Strasbourg.
